K2K® Scales IKM® Technology to Bring Sovereign AI Services Across Smart Spaces

K2K brings IKM® Neural Networks and VLMs to cities and ports across Europe and Africa, turning the cameras they already own into real-time, certified knowledge.


Oct. 14, 2026 | Ahead of NVIDIA GTC Berlin, K2K® today announced the integration of NVIDIA accelerated computing, NVIDIA Cosmos world foundation models and the NVIDIA Metropolis Video Search and Summarization (VSS) Blueprint into its IKM® Technology to support locally controlled AI services for cities and infrastructure operators. Working with the Liverpool City Region, the Island of Jersey and Innovation City Belfast, K2K is exploring how these capabilities can help cities and ports improve mobility, urban planning and public services using existing camera infrastructure.

IKM® Neural Networks, with more than 250 networks able to operate in parallel on a single video stream, and IKM® Vision Language Models, running on NVIDIA accelerated computing, extract and analyze the meaning in video streams in real time and organize it into a sovereign, locally owned database that operators and decision-makers capitalize by being able to query it in natural language and deliver high value-added agentic AI insight Services on the cameras that cities, ports and infrastructures already own, with no new cameras and no civil works.


With NVIDIA Cosmos, K2K transforms single frames of real sensor data into physically accurate synthetically generated scenarios of rare events that are difficult to capture in the real world.. In After K2K’s evaluation, 97% of the Cosmos-generated clips were then used to fine-tune vision language models (VLMs) for IKM.


Scaling through Local Partners

K2K works with regional partners to integrate, deliver, operate, and support IKM® Technology and AI services locally, while data and AI models remain IKM® Technology. Bridge Tech Global in Africa and SmartCT in Europe are supporting this approach, helping customers start with targeted applications for existing camera infrastructure, evaluate their value using local data and expand services as needs evolve.
